How you do anything is how you do everything.
What you do in your 5 to 9 defines your 9 to 5.
AI is going to steal your job.
If you’re not working on your personal brand, you’re a \
nobody to the world.
Failure is learning.
Failure is losing.
Everyone should quit their job and be an entrepreneur.
Entrepreneurs are born, not made.
I’ve heard all of these buzzy statements. And many
more like them.
Are they clickbait? Lead magnets? Pearls of wisdom?
How do you know which to listen to, which to follow,
when they seemingly contradict each other? How do you know what the truth is?
You can’t and won’t know the truth from other people.
You have to find the truth for yourself.
You can learn from the experiences of others. This can help light the path, show the potential pitfalls, and provide a roadmap of how they did it.
But your truth will become known to you through your actions.
How do you drive a car? It’s kind of difficult to explain. You just have to do it.
How do you make the perfect egg? Trial and error teaches you, even after you are told the way.
How do you start a business? Well there are roadmaps on how you start a business, checklists if you will.
What you won’t learn well from others is how to actually run a business. That comes from the doing, the wins, the mistakes, the lessons.
Looking to others that are ahead of you will help you.
But you have to apply those ideas in your way, in your business, and your results might be different.
Because you are not them. You are you.
There is so much information out there. It can be useful. It can also be numbing.
My words of advice- just get started.
